Microsoft to release Windows 7 SP1 RTM on 22 February 2011

Microsoft has made an official announcement that Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (SP1) has been RTMed. The build number is 7601.17514.101119-1850. And it should become available to TechNet and MSDN subscribers on February 16th, 2011. After 6 days on 22 February 2011 it’ll be available for download via Microsoft download center and Windows Update to public.

Google Chrome 9.0.597.94 Released!

Google Chrome has been updated to 9.0.597.94.

This release contains an updated version of Flash player (10.2).
Additionally Chrome 9 also comes with security fixes.

Mozilla Firefox 4.0 Beta 11 Released.

Beta 11 of Mozilla Firefox 4.0 is available for download from Mozilla website.
changes coming with this release are:
-Do Not Track (DNT) [new anti-tracking privacy feature which allows users to opt-in mechanism within the
browser to have more control over what websites can track them while they online.]
-Connection status messages are now shown in a small overlay
-WebGL has been re-enabled on Linux
-The default homepage design has been refreshed
-Firefox no longer switches into offline mode automatically
